THE ALLIED FORCES COLLECTION

America’s leading menswear designer joins forces with Private White V.C. on a collection inspired by garments worn by American & British servicemen of the early 20th century.

Todd Snyder has partnered with Private White V.C., one of England’s most venerable outfitters beloved by royalty, rock stars, athletes and actors alike. This limited-edition collection draws inspiration from the utilitarian styles of standard-issue garments worn by American and British servicemen.

When designing this collection, Todd and Private White V.C. fused their appreciation of utility with their obsession of quality, craft and tailoring. As one of England’s premier outerwear brands, Private White V.C. hand crafts every garment in Manchester’s last remaining clothing factory, a red-bricked building on the banks of the River Irwell, where they’ve been based since 1853.

“I’ve always been inspired by the rugged beauty of garments that were originally developed for American and British servicemen,” says Todd. “Private White V.C. is a brand I’ve long admired for their rich history and for their dedication to quality and craftsmanship. This collection celebrates just that.”

“The very essence of our DNA is steeped in the heroics of British servicemen and so when Todd suggested that we collaborate on a capsule of military inspired clothing, British-made from only the finest regionally sourced materials, I could not wait to get started.” says James Eden, CEO & Co-Founder of PWVC.

The collection features five outerwear styles like the double-breasted shearling coat, a fishtail parka and a CPO jacket that matches back to a Gurkha pant style.
