DESCRIPTION

Drawing inspiration from the coats worn by the drivers of the iconic Willys MB US Army Jeep, this coat is designed to wrap around the wearer just like a blanket. Its primary purpose is to keep out the cold. Crafted in Manchester from a super soft and water resistant 100% brushed cotton, the garment is fully lined with a 100% wool flannel and further reinforced by a layer of 100% wool wadding. A real shearling collar provides extra warmth, whilst the double-breasted closure and belted waist make it easy to retain the heat.

  • 100% brushed cotton twill outer fabric (UK woven) with our exclusive ECOSEAM® showerproof
  • Real Shearling collar
  • 100% wool flannel lining woven in Huddersfield
  • Wool wadding throughout for maximum warmth and insulation
  • Military-grade copper hardware from RIRI of Switzerland
  • British-made, real horn combat buttons
  • External oversized pockets with flaps (lined with fleece)
  • Throat tab with button fastening
  • Internal zip secure oversized tablet pockets
  • Ribbed cuff to insulate from the cold winds
  • Made in our own factory in Manchester, England

A Fair Price to Pay The old adage 'you get what you pay for' rarely rings true in the world of clothing. It does at Private White V.C. where we’ve been cutting our cloth and creating garments for over 100 years. We make outerwear we consider superior to anything produced in any other factory in the world. Our pricing is fair - not cheap, but certainly not overpriced. And we want you to know what you pay for, so we outline exactly where your money goes when you invest in your Private White V.C. clothing. But we can’t put a price on expertise and experience, on the learning that has been passed down through generations. That’s the gold dust we sprinkle on each garment that leaves our factory. You will recognise it when you wear your Private White V.C. coat for the very first time. You’ll walk a little taller, with pride and satisfaction. It’s a good feeling. Priceless.
