This historic garment was cannon fodder for the Manchester rain wear industry throughout the early 1900's right through to the 1980's. Hundreds of thousands of SB fly front raincoats were produced initially to cover up our forces, then worn by our industrial work force and through to our city gents
Lowry's industrial art illustrates the extensive use of this simply ingenious item of clothing.
Using our factory's technical expertise, we have developed an all weather SB4 fly fronted raincoat. The outer fabric is made from 100% cotton Ventile® which has a multitude of reliable, comfortable and durable properties:
